After years of effort, we’re proud to share a major milestone: the Gig Harbor Vintage Aero Museum is now officially a nonprofit.
Effective date: 04/02/2026.
This new chapter helps ensure we can keep doing what we love, preserving and sharing the story of aviation with our community, visitors, students, and future pilots and engineers. It also helps us strengthen the programs and experiences that bring people closer to these rare aircraft and the era they represent.
If you’re already an aviation history buff, we can’t wait to welcome you back. If you’re not one yet… you might just become one the moment you see the airplanes up close, hear the stories, and experience the craftsmanship in person.
A donation button is coming soon to our website. When it’s live, every contribution, large or small, will help support aircraft preservation, restoration efforts, educational outreach, and keeping the museum experience strong for everyone who walks through our doors.
